Overview:


Mr. Pranit Ghate is a passionate Illustrator, Artist and Master of Ceramics with more than 16 years of experience. He has received Art Teacher Diploma from Directorate of Art -Mumbai in 2005 afterwards he has completed his Graduation in Ceramics from esteemed college, Sir J.J. School of Arts- Mumbai in 2010. Also, he has achieved a Masters Degree from MIT- ADT University in Ceramics Sculptures.

While studying and after his academic studies he has worked as an Illustrator for American Revolution Children History books at ‘Kurve and Lines Pvt Ltd Company’. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor at the well-known Art college of Mumbai, Rachana Sansad Academy of Fine Arts and Craft for 14 years. During this tenure, his demonstrations were very much loved and admired by the students. Many of the students from his earlier batches have set themselves as professionals in the Art market. He has guided several students to create Professional Art portfolios, who are working in countries like Canada, Spain and London. He has taught many Art Subjects to almost all age groups in Professional workshops. He has been conducting a Ceramics and pottery workshops with many craft lover candidates. With His mastery in handling Pencils, Charcoal, Water, Poster, Oil and Acrylic colors he has created a vast spectrum of concept based Artworks.

He has exhibited his conceptual Ceramic Sculptures in Jehangir Art Gallery – Mumbai in 2018, and was highly appreciated by many Art lovers and Curators.

Recently he has joined MIT-SD as an Assistant Professor.

  • Awards in Annual exhibitions held at Sir J.J. School of Arts Mumbai
  • 2nd Award in Kalanand National Level Competition held by Prafulla Dahanukar Trust
