Ar. Sneha Padishalwar is an architect, educator, researcher, and Indian Green Building Council Accredited Professional (IGBC-AP) with over 7.5 years of combined experience in academia and professional practice. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Nagpur University and a Master’s degree specialization in Environmental Architecture from Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture, Pune (BNCA). Driven by a deep passion for architecture, interior design, spatial design, and the broader world of design, she actively bridges industry practice with design education. Alongside her previous industry experience with eminent architectural firms & academic role as an Assistant Professor at PCET’s S.B. Patil College of Architecture & Design, Pune, she leads her own architectural practice, working on residential, commercial, and interior design projects. Her academic approach is strongly student-centric, emphasizing experiential learning, design thinking, and an understanding of student psychology. She is particularly fascinated by the fields of architecture, interior design, space design, sustainability, and foundational design education. Committed to continuous learning, she actively explores emerging trends in design, technology, and pedagogy while pursuing research to advance academic knowledge and practice. Sneha has participated in numerous national and international seminars, workshops, conferences, and conventions, contributing to professional and academic discourse. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys travelling, observing people and cultures, mentoring aspiring designers, and engaging in community-oriented initiatives. Her curiosity, empathy, and passion for design continue to inspire her work as both a practitioner and educator.
